The Board of Governors is an elected body. Governor terms run three years.
Using contact information provided by our members, every F.A.C.C. votes at the state level for their Governor. For states with Chapters, Governors automatically become the Chapter President.
On the same ballot as the Governor election, ACC holds a CCA election to elect the national CCA representative from the state/region. This person will serve on a national CCA committee.
The CCA candidate names are submitted to ACC National by the Chapter nomination committee (Gov, Past Govs and current CCA liaison). This person serves on the Chapter's board. Both physicians and CCAs in a state/region vote for the Governor. Only CCAs vote for the CCA representative.
