BOG Quality Work Group Mission Statement

The BOG Quality Work Group shall consist of 1 chair and 6 members. The chair will be appointed by the current BOG Chair in consultation with the BOG Steering Committee.  The chair may be either a current BOG member or a past BOG member from the last three years of classes.

 

The members will be appointed by the work group chair from current and past BOG members as outlined.  Four members must be current BOG members and 2 members may be past or current BOG members.

 

The BOG Quality Work Group will act as a sounding board for the practical application of quality initiatives in various practice types and geographical settings.  Ideas for new quality initiatives or modifications to emerging initiatives may also be recommended by this group; these would go before the BOG Steering committee, and if approved, would move through regularly established ACC channels for further consideration. The Work Group is responsible for: 1) reviewing and deliberating projects, ideas and issues put before them by ACC relating to the practical application of proposed or emerging quality initiatives; 2) assisting in the communication plan for quality initiative rollouts involving chapters; 3) facilitating state and chapter involvement in regards to quality initiatives; 4) and making recommendations to the Board of Governors Steering Committee on chapter involvement in quality initiatives.  The work group will report to the Board of Governors Steering Committee will communicate with them on a regularly scheduled basis.
