The BOG Steering Committee has created the Chapter Executive Steering Committee to facilitate and continuously improve interaction between the Chapters and with the College and foster best practices to improve member value.
COMMITTEE CHARGE:
The Chapter Executives Steering Committee shall meet to discuss issues and concerns as identified by ACC Chapter Presidents and/or Chapter Executives and establish a process within the existing College structure to encourage constructive resolution of these issues and concerns; plan interesting and innovative Chapter Executives’ Workshops; establish working groups as needed to support specific projects; determine and discuss ‘best practices’ among Chapters; and encourage dialogue and collaboration between the BOT, BOG, Chapter leaders, Chapter members, Chapter Executives, and ACC Staff.
The Committee shall consist of five Chapter Executives. Chapter Executives will be nominated for service on this committee by their respective Chapter Presidents. The BOG Steering Committee will select the committee members from these nominations at their December meeting. The chair and secretary of this Steering Committee will be selected by the committee members.
The committee will meet in person at all BOG Meetings and conduct conference calls as deemed necessary by the committee. This committee reports to the BOG Steering Committee. Minutes of the Chapter Executive Steering Committee meetings and conference calls should be provided to the BOG Chair and ACC Chapters staff.
