BOG STEERING COMMITTEE

The BOG Steering Committee discuses issues and concerns as identified by the Governors and establishes a process within the College structure to address these issues and concerns. It addresses strategic planning for the BOG, and encourages and stimulates interaction between the BOG and Chapters, and the BOG and Board of Trustees. The Immediate Past Chair and the Chair-elect of the BOG all serve as ex-officio members on the Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees. The Steering Committee also oversees the annual Governors-Elect election as described in Article VI, Section 1 of the College bylaws.

The Steering Committee consists of the BOG Chair who serves as the Chair, the Immediate Past Chair of the BOG, the Chair-Elect of the BOG, and five other Governors appointed by the Chair. These member-governors serve a two-year term (at which time their term as an ACC Governor will have expired).

The Steering Committee meets by Conference Call on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm Eastern Time.
