The College has updated its iMIS database, and is moving to a new content management system.
Three ACC Chapter Executives are participating in a database pilot. They will be provided access to ACC's membership system, iMIS, and the training will allow them to view members' demographic information, dues bills, product and educational activities, and other information. And they will be trained to perform record updates and run reports. The three participants are:
Gwen Goldfarb - West Virginia, Ohio and Indiana Chapters
Jayne Jordan - Developing Chapters
Alan Morasch - Oregon Chapter
The Departments of Membership, IT, Finance and Chapter Affairs are involved in this project. ACC wants the Executives to have high quality data, and the access they need to the database.
Additionally, Yvette Perry-Banks has joined the Resource Center and is dedicated to providing reports and lists requested by ACC membership staff including Chapter Executives. Membership is working with Yvette to begin a long-term process of improving data maintenance at ACC, from utilizing National Change of Address regularly on our member list to removing the numerous duplicate records in our file. They are also developing data entry standards which they will share with other College staff which will lead the way towards a cleaner data file. Please share your ideas and concerns with us as we work through this process.
