In an ongoing effort to help you communicate with your Chapter members about ACC activities, we have launched this section of the Chapter Affairs Extranet designed to provide you with quarterly news that you can use in your:
- Chapter newsletters
- Chapter Web site
- Other communications as appropriate
These news items can be used verbatim or can be modified to be more Chapter specific.
This month's edition is broken down into three main categories:
1) News Updates: These include regulatory, legislative and FDA alert items that have (or can have) an impact on patients and practices. Calls to action will also be included in this section as appopriate.
2) Communication Updates: These include information on ACC communication vehicles that might be of interest to your Chapter members.
3) Save the Date Updates: These include information on upcoming conferences and events that might be of interest to Chapter members.
In addition to the news items, we will be posting a monthly Quality First/Advocacy slideset to assist you in developing slide presentations, etc. Please keep in mind that with the health care landscape changing quickly, specific questions or slide requests should be directed to Shalen Fairbanks (sfairban@acc.org) and she can assist you with your presentation. In addition, feedback on the type of news that you'd like to see included in the news updates is also welcome and can be sent to Shalen as well.
